Summer Adventures | A Day at the Garden and the Market

Every now and then Anna Son and I like to get dressed up and head out for a little adventure. Since Maryland weather finally decided to cooperate with us we didn't waste a moment to hop on the car and find things to do around town. We ended up at Brookside Gardens  a beautiful garden situated withing Wheaton Regional Park. Surrounded by hundreds of blooming flowers we couldn't help taking X amount of pictures with them; their scent was heavenly (hence the multiple pics of us smelling them). We even shot a video of our trip so do expect a future post on it.

After frolicking we headed to the Fenton Street Market in downtown Silver Spring. Vendors were selling everything from fresh tomatoes to beaded necklaces straight from Kenya. We saw a self made glass blower and Anna Son added to her collection of West African waist beads.

The day was a summer success- a stylish way to kick off the season. Check out our pics below!

What types of adventures are you all taking this summer? What sort of trips and travels should be made next?
